Dear Church,

We are in the month of April! To think we just celebrated Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year. Indeed when the Lord said the days of evil will be shortened in the last days for the sake of the elect (His children); He has done so according to His word. Hopefully the three and the half years of the Tribulation will fly past quickly and the persecution of God’s people shortened because that is the next prophetic word of Revelation 6.

The Middle East
The events in the Middle East took many by surprise. Just as the Bible says – when they say, “Peace” suddenly destruction comes.

(1Th 5:3) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.)

The four horsemen of Revelation 6 are riding across the earth. (Refer to Youtube Horseman in Egyptian riot ) and we are now living between the fifth and sixth seal of Revelation 6. The fifth seal is the persecution of the people of God both spiritual (Christians) and natural (Israel). Many will be martyred for their faith. Let us pray for the Christians in the Middle East lands where the recent riots have opened doors for extreme religious groups to take over. Pray for them and for us because we never know if it will spread to Malaysia. So pray…only God can save Malaysia. Indonesian churches are already facing such persecutions.

What about Malaysia?

The Middle East riots started because the people had no jobs and no money while prices of food soared and corrupted leaders suck the nation dry. Can the same be said of Malaysia? Our unemployment is less drastic because jobs are deliberately created to absorb the many youths churned out of the Universities. Many countries have suddenly awakened to the need to tackle poverty or else the same thing can happen to them. It is a good wake-up call. However it appears that some leaders cannot contain their greed and it is business (or shall I say, corruption) as usual. Christians, you have the responsibility and you must be the Watchman on the wall to stand in the gap, to warn, to intercede. Prayer is powerful so use this weapon God has given us! Use our Prophetic message as your prayer guide so that you are praying on target.

What must we do besides Praying?
I feel distraught at times thinking of the many around us who are not saved. I feel helpless to help them especially when they do not want to be helped. But here is one way for you to talk to those around you who need the Gospel. It will help the Hindus, Buddhists and Taoists to think through the important issues of life after death. Here it is…

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?  <(FOOD FOR THOUGHT)

1, Every one will go to the place of the god(s) they worship. This is my answer to those who are offended when we say Christians go to heaven and Jesus Christ is the only way...
If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you go to live with Him in eternity. He stays in heaven, by the way, if you do not know. He describes His home in the Bible.

(And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Rev 21:4)

What a wonderful place and I have seen a glimpse of it too.

2. If you worship other gods, you go to the place your gods live. Logical, isn’t it? And true. They do not live in heaven in case you are not aware. That is why Christians tell you that you need to worship Jesus if you want to go to heaven.

What if you are an atheist? Well, you still belong to the god of atheism, just in case you are not aware of that too. Atheism is a religion with its own set of philosophies and beliefs. I call it a ‘god’ but actually the proper name is a spirit and can be cast out in Jesus’ name like all spirits. So atheists will spend eternity with him.
By the way, all these gods live in the same place except the Christian God and His Christian family. In fact, this was what a Taoist nun told my sister-in-law at my mother’s funeral because she saw that my mother was a Christian but the non-Christian son and relatives insisted on a Taoist funeral.

An Important Fact for ALL to know.

God created heaven for Mankind and His angels.
Hell was created for satan and his evil angels, never for man.

Listen carefully now. If any man goes to hell it is not God who sends him there. He goes there by CHOICE. He made that choice when he turns his back on the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Here is what the Bible says. John 14: 1-6

“Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And whither I go you know, and the way you know. Thomas said to him, Lord, ……….how can we know the way?

Jesus said to him, ”I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”

Now dear Christians, go and tell as many as you can that Jesus loves them and wants them to live in His Father’s house.

God takes care of His own
Do not be afraid of the times ahead because Father God will take care of us. Do your part and leave God to do His part for you. Love God and serve Him only. Keep close to Him for that is the safest place.

River of Life Sanctuary – we are the local house of God. We have a specific calling, we have a destiny, we have a mandate, and we have work to do before He comes. Time is short. Let us get praying and working, keeping our eyes on Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith.
All Christians everywhere have also a calling and a task. Go and do your bit! May the Holy Spirit enable and equip us. Amen.
