Dear Church,

Each month, I ask the Lord what He wants to say to you. Although I know many do not bother to read the bulletin and so miss out what God wants to say to them, it is still my duty to bring you the message of the Lord. It is sad that anyone in this local House (where God speaks to us) should miss out on the important and the urgent things of the Lord.
This month I want to convey the Lord’s stern word to all of us. Firstly, a reminder that time is short. We used to get visions of the clock at five to twelve. But now, the Lord shows us the clock at ONE minute to twelve! 

 He is good to give us warning. The natural disasters and man-made disasters are constantly an alarm bell ringing. So if I were you, I would get our house in order and clean up our act! It is God’s tsunami’s early warning system!

WHAT GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW

God wants you to know some things are important to Him in His church. People may say all kinds of things to differ but in the end it is what the Lord says that is most important. So whether you agree with me or not, it does not matter as long as God agrees. As your pastor, I have to be the watchman at the gate. 

   Eze. 33:6-7 “But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand. So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.” 

1. God wants you to know that attending church is important to Him and it confirms your commitment to Him and His earthly family. Heb 10:25.
However imperfect church may be, your duty is to make it less imperfect! Offer help, take up a missing link and fill it up. Talk is cheap - so keep it to yourself if you are not able to walk your talk or put action to your words! God has a function for everyone. 1 Cor 12:15-26. When one is not functioning others have to bear a heavier load. Speak well of your House.

2 God wants you to know that you can’t keep secrets from Him. You may  keep secrets from pastor, or church members or even your spouse BUT you cannot keep secrets from Him. So clean up your act and get rid of all secret sins and addictions.

Yes, addictions are also sins because you should not be under bondage to anything. Rom 6:12 “Therefore do not let Sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.”

This is a demon called Sin.If it rules over you, then the Holy Spirit does not rule over you. And if the Holy Spirit does not rule over you, you do not belong to God.If you don’t belong to God then you have no place in His House in heaven, you can’t be born again! That is a strong warning that you may not have a place in heaven!

Addiction to pornography, to gambling, to smoking, to drinking, etc …..Please do not gamble away eternity or attend church in vain, all for the sake of gratifying your fleshly desires.

3. God wants you to know that prayer is very important and the enemy wants to stop you praying. God wants all His children to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and praying in the prayer language because it is a powerful weapon. Overcome the enemy and pray. If you find it hard to pray, come and join the church group to pray together on Wednesday night. It is easier if there is someone else to help encourage us to pray. We need everyone to come together to pray in one voice and one accord, not a shopping list prayer, but a Spirit-led chorus of intercession to heaven. Praying in tongues is very powerful. I want to see it grow in our prayer meeting. If you do not know how, just come, learn and catch the fire of prayer. Your shopping list can be prayed for in the cell group, so join one.

4. God wants you not to compromise with the world. If you mix too much with worldly people or watch questionable TV and movies, remember there is a spiritual element attached to these things. 1Cor 15:33 “Do not be deceived: Evil company corrupts good habits”

5. God wants you to teach your children godly ways. Your lack of teaching and compromise will lead them to hell. He gives some examples … It is not alright to dress like the world of sexy fashions; it is not ok to play with occult games, TV, films, videos, books like Harry Potter, celebrations like Halloween, tell lies, use deception, disobey parents. And it is not OK to tell your children that they can marry non-Christians. God wants you to have family prayer together where you read the Bible, discuss a point or two and pray for each other.

6. God wants you to celebrate Christian celebrations, birthdays, reunions and anniversaries so that you can give your family happy memories and a godly heritage and tradition.

7, God wants you to have true joy of the heart, not temporary happiness.

8. God wants you to have peace. Lack of trust in God means loss of peace.

9. God wants you to know He loves you very much but do not take Him for granted.

This is what God wants to remind you in this month of November. We are coming to the end of the year 2009 where most of the Dec 2008 prophesies
have come to pass. For Watch Night this year, your intercessors are already seeking the Lord for His Message to us and to the world. Remember, your
2008 word is not just for 2009 but for the next five years. So what God gives us this Watch Night will just be additional to His message.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
