WHAT IS GOD SAYING TO HIS PEOPLE IN 2009 AND THE NEXT 5 YEARS

What did God say to us last year? Some have come to pass and some are yet to come. Some things have been reduced in impact because of intense prayer and we continue to pray hard enough to prevent the negatives and hard enough to push through the positive!

Before I tell you what the Lord is saying to His people for the year ahead and beyond, you need to know how to receive His word.

Jonah Chp.1
Jonah was a prophet who heard accurately from God. But instead of obeying, he ran away. WHY?

1. He did not want to warn Nineveh. They were a very wicked empire of Assyria and very cruel to their enemies. He wanted vengeance, not mercy for these wicked people who have tortured and killed his people. It is like asking a Christian to go to the Taliban who have slit the throats and gorged out the guts of Christians, to warn them to repent or else God's judgment will come.

2. He may himself become the victim if the Nineveh people refuse to believe and will torture and kill him!

3. If they actually turned from their sin and God forgave them, he would feel it is unfair.

4. He knows God's power through his preaching and when they respond, God would show them mercy, which Jonah did not wish for them to have. He wanted to see God's judgment on them.

5. IF WHAT HE PROPHESIED DID NOT HAPPEN because they repented, PEOPLE MIGHT CALL HIM A FALSE PROPHET.

6. Jonah had self-centered values and little compassion especially for his enemies.

Keeping this in mind, we are giving you what is received by our intercessors in the prayer groups, in-house and externally, and the words from international ministries and prophets, teachers and leaders. We picked up those we feel are relevant and others we have put as prayer points. We try to be responsible in this matter to sift out the flaky from the real.

How we should receive these words is important, just as we are reminded by looking at the prophet, Jonah.

1. Do not rejoice over judgment for the wicked but to pray for their salvation instead.
2. When we pray against calamities, do we WANT them to happen or to prevent them from happening? Or at least reduce their intensity and damage? Some want them to happen. Our motives are important.
3. When God answers the intercessors prayers, do you accuse them of predicting what did not come to pass? For this reason, many do not want to release God's word but run away like Jonah!
4. Do we understand why God speaks to us? Because we have a RESPONSIBILITY to fast and pray.
5. This is not to tickle your ears!! If you hear and do not act, judgment falls on YOU, like it did for Jonah who heard but will not obey.

Before we even give you the instructions of the Lord, one of the first things God says is that some of you take God's Word for granted! We should receive it with awe and reverence. Let me read from Jer. 42:20-22.

Jer 42:20 For you used deceit against your souls when you sent me to Jehovah your God, saying, Pray for us to Jehovah our God; and according to all that Jehovah our God shall say, so declare to us, and we will do it. Jer 42:21 And I have declared it to you today; but you have not obeyed the voice of Jehovah your God, nor anything for which He has sent me to you. Jer 42:22 And therefore know
certainly that you shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the plague, in the place where you desire to go to live.

6. So I advise you to take His word seriously and do not be like the people in Jeremiah's days.

We begin with Malaysia and the nations in South East Asia (though some may be applied to the global churches).

A. The Governance and role of Malaysia in 2009 and the next 5 years.

1. God hears the prayer and cries of many faithful intercessors in many churches and prayer groups in our land. If not for them, Malaysia will be like other nations who suffer violence. Because of their prayers and those of many who will join them, God will place an umbrella of protection over Malaysia for the time being.

2. Because God said Malaysia will be a hub for sending help (both spiritual and physical) to the surrounding countries, Malaysia will be preserved in order to do that work of mercy for the Lord. (Through the church? Or other agencies? Or both? This is not specified),

3. A vision of Malaysia being raised up high above the nations around, in the shape of a potato. After a year Malaysia starts to sink down but stops half way. God will raise up Malaysia to feed and help the others (potato as a food symbol). But Malaysia begins to lose that height until the prayers of the Christians halt its drop. It will remain half way of its previous level and will not drop further if and when faithful Christians stand in the gap.

4. Nations around Malaysia will see a fire of spiritual cleansing. Out of the burnt patches, white flowers will grow. This vision is repeated in the vision of the countries forest trees burning but behind the fire across the charred burnt land, new trees will sprout up. These trees will be strong and green. (Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines). Then it is Malaysia's turn to be cleansed if the churches do not walk righteously. Pray that this may not be necessary if churches and Christians will repent.

5. When these countries are "burning", Malaysia must rise up to give food and help to them. God will give Malaysia fresh resources if she does that. At this time a white canopy covers Malaysia. (During tragedies in Indonesia in the past, many Malaysian churches went to help.)

6. Many Christian and non-Christian leaders in the secular realm of this country who stand up for righteousness, need our strong prayer covering next year, for they will be persecuted by someone with the power to do so. They need to prepare their hearts to walk closely to God and suffer for righteousness sake. Please pray earnestly for them, Christians.

7. Continue to pray for the Judiciary and Police that changes begun in 2008, will come to pass soon.

8. Islamic influence in our education will continue to intensify. This was given last year but prayer was not intense enough, as other situations have captured our attention. Much prayer is needed in this area.

9. You have prayed till the enemy is over the hill BUT it is not enough! Pray till they are out of the land!! You have to intensify prayer, not relax in prayer. The partial victory MUST be completed if you want to win the war. THERE IS AN UNSEEN HEAVENLY SPIRITUAL WARFARE. You are not praying enough, leaving the work to the faithful few. How can the angels do warfare strongly if the saints of God are not helping to pray and fast? Fast and pray! This is God's command.

B. The Churches of Malaysia for 2009 and beyond

1. There is a false security in many charismatic churches that tell the people that God is love and so they will not suffer in the times ahead. They are assured they will prosper. Many others in mainline churches have a religious spirit, kissing crosses and Bibles and chanting prayers & having a false piety. Others are filled with fear.

2. Prosperity teaching is distorted. But God will not bless those with covetousness and personal agenda. God is only raising up those who are handling funds for His kingdom; the wealth that God is transferring to them is for Kingdom work, not personal luxury.

3. Doctrines of man and demons continue to trap Christians into holy huddles and making them ineffective in the harvest field of the Lord. Go and preach the Gospel of Christ, not your own gospel!! Many false prophets with health and wealth preaching will lull many into false security.

4. Pray for your families and children. Satan is putting his hand in to grab them out of God's kingdom. Divorce rates among Christians are going up and youths and children are targeted. Get serious, guard your home and families from demonic influence through the mass media and entertainment!

5. Warning to Churches & teach your people about the Rapture because it is very near. DO NOT compromise with New Age teaching and the morals of the world. Teach the Bible Truth, not watered down versions for fear of losing your congregation. Lk 22:34-36; Matt 25:1-13:Heb 6:4-8; 10:26-31; Rev 21:8; 22:15

6. Churches are reminded strongly to feed the poor and to share Christ with them. Those feeding themselves will get judgment! The church must feed the poor or face judgment. For those feeding others, God will provide more and more resources to do so.

7. Do not have "unholy covenants". Do not have ethnic pride. Do not have racism! Do not think yourselves superior or better than others! Be humble and thank God for every blessing. Feed those in need regardless of race and do it  with love, not pride! There is a sowing and reaping principle. Continue to sow! Let the church be the Feeding House in every way and they will see God provide SUPERNATURALLY.

8. To have His full blessings, make sure you get out of debts, pay your income tax, give your tithes and offering, return what you have cheated, repent for dishonest dealings, pay your vows, and repent for the love of money.

9. God lays out three steps for His Church.
a) Go down on your knees
b) Pray and fast
c) Study the Word of God.

Those faithful Christians in Malaysia, God gives you this Word: Jer 31:16-17

Jer 31:16 So says Jehovah: Hold back your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears; for your work shall be rewarded, says Jehovah. And they shall come again from the land of the enemy. Jer 31:17 And there is hope for your future, says Jehovah, that your sons shall come again to their own border.

C. World Events in 2009 and the next 5 years?

1. Many diseases will attack the animals and add to the food shortage. Many animals will have to be culled. Christians, pray to shorten and reduce this act of satan to cause more turmoil, social unrest, riots, famine, etc.

2. Cloned animals & original cloned ones will not live. Fishes are already dying out bringing about another food setback.

3. The World will have about one sixth of its population wiped out by satanic natural disasters, war, and famines. God continues to remove His hand of protection over these lands that have worshipped other gods. "You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels; Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, and the monthly prognosticators stand up and save you from these things that shall come upon you." Isa 47:13

America
4. America will suffer a major earthquake that cuts across the land. It will cost many lives to be lost and damages in billions, something America cannot afford. This will plunge America into deeper debts.
5. Suicide rates will go up and satanism will increase in this land. (America has been warned many times but the country continues to sin morally, despise the God of their Fathers and propagate eastern religions and other false teachings, pollute the gospel. Rev 18:1-20)

Middle East and Israel

6. Three pillars in the Middle East will rise up. One of it is its religious thrust. The other two is not revealed. Then after a time, lightning will come down from heaven and strike these pillars.
7. There will be nuclear attempts against Israel. One small one will get through because of Israel's pride and cause many lives to be lost. Then the people of Israel will call upon the Lord for America will not be able to help them..
8. In retaliation, Israel will hit back. There will be a great shaking in Israel. The Middle East nations will unite STRONGLY against Israel, after the shaking. Three countries will form an alliance against Israel. (Watch and pray for Israel. It is the time marker for the Tribulation to begin)

PRAY FOR ISRAEL for the whole world will be against them!

China
9. The latter half of the year 2009, will see riots in China for political reasons and because of the hardships the people will experience. Pray that there will not be any bloodshed.

Africa
10. The slave trade revives. Humans are sold as commodities to be owned or to sell.

Philippines
11. The surrounding islands will see natural disaster-.no time frame given.

Thailand
12. What was said of Thailand, the East Coast and North Malaysia last year still applies. Continue to pray.

Reminders to ALL Christians
1. The Lord has turned back the clock THREE TIMES to give churches and Christians time to change and do His work, to pray and to fast, to complete preaching the Gospel to all.
2. The Lord said He will not turn back the clock any more.
3. After the nuclear attack between the Middle East country (?) and Israel, events are going to move very fast.
4. You can escape the Tribulation under certain conditions. Read Luke 22:36; Rev 3:10.
5. Please take action so that you need not have to stay for the Tribulation. I pray for myself, family and for all of you that you will not be left behind. All babies, children who have not reached the age of understanding, including the mentally challenged will be taken up.
6. If you are left behind, do not take the CHIP, even if you have to starve.
7. Remember, you have three and half years of the Anti-Christ's wrath against Christians and Jews, to survive. All those who have not denied the faith and are still alive, God will rescue before He pours out His Judgment on the Anti-Christ for the next three and half years. (Total 7 years)
8. Then Jesus returns with His angels and all His saints to establish His Kingdom on earth for 1000 years.
9. And the final revelation of the Lord is this : Rows of angels stand with trumpets lifted up ready to sound the last call. The clock shows five minutes to twelve. The Lord said He will not turn the clock back again. It has been turned back three times before and this time is the final one. And the angels will blow their trumpets to begin the Rapture of the Faithful saints of God. Only about 10-20% of the Christians are caught up!

I WANT 75% OF YOU TO ESCAPE THE TRIBULATION,
NOT 10-20%!!!

# Anyone in sexual sin, repent, confess your sin and get help to be set free.
# Anyone doing shady business, repent and return all the money you have taken from others,
# Anyone causing strife, quarrelling or refusing to forgive, repent and put things right.
# Anyone who is flirting with the world, not talking to God everyday or reading His Word or attending church faithfully, repent and change your ways.
# Anyone who is luke-warm and lazy in God's work, repent and put your hands to the plow.
# Anyone in the habit of telling lies, slander or indulging in compromised practices of other religions and philosophies, repent, confess and stop doing these things.
# Anyone unfair or unkind to foreign workers or even to animals, repent and make things right.
# Anyone who made pledges or vows to God or others and have not kept them, repent and fulfill your vows.
# Anyone who is not fulfilling your marriage vows regardless of whether spouses do or don't do their part, repent and ask God for wisdom and a miracle to preserve your marriage and home.
# Anyone who is a bad testimony at home or at work, repent and change or lose your blessings.

MOST IMPORTANT, IF YOU ARE NOT ESTABLISHING A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD NOW YOU WILL BE LEFT
BEHIND AND HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE TRIBULATION!

Please don't be left behind and please don't lose your salvation. Staying for the Tribulation and enduring the wrath of the anti-Christ is a very frightening experience and many have to be martyred. Many also will deny Christ. Losing your salvation is worse. Spending eternity in hell is NOT an acceptable option!! And it is your choice!

Remember!! establish a relationship with God your Father. This is what you have to do.
1. Read your Bible prayerfully, asking Holy Spirit to help you.
2. Write down your thoughts and even questions.
3. Wait for God to speak to you.
4. Pray over what you have learnt from His Word
5. Pray for your personal prayer items.
6. Get to know your Father intimately and have faith in a faithful God.
Do this every morning. At night before you go to bed, read a portion of Scripture using a Bible reading aid with the family or alone, give thanks to God before you go to sleep.
