God Our Healer
GOD IS A MIRACLE HEALER by Bro Maniam (RLS Church Worker) Aug 2010
My wife’s sister gave birth to a baby boy (named Matthew) in March 2010. Right after he was delivered, he had problems with his breathing. The doctors had to immediately operate on him to insert a heart pacer because he was born with complications in his heart. The operation was successful and he was able to breathe. But Matthew was weak and had to stay in the hospital. Another operation had to be performed on him and it was heart breaking to see this little baby having to suffer so much right from birth. Everyday my wife and I would go to the hospital to see him and pray for him. We could do nothing except to call out to God for mercy to heal the child and to trust in God’s will.
In June 2010, the doctor told my sister-in-law that Matthew’s situation had become worse and needed a third operation. After the operation, the doctor announced that Matthew could only live for another 48 hours. My sister-in-law was devastated. All my wife and I could do was to comfort her through our prayers. I shared this sad news with the staff at RLS and they also prayed for God’s will to be done for Matthew’s life.
Then, the miracle began to happen. Suddenly Matthew seemed to be getting better rather than worse. After 3 days, he was restored and was able to go home for the first time since birth.
Now he can smile, laugh, play and drink milk like a normal baby. Although the baby still needs the heart pacer, God has heard our cries and has answered our prayers by restoring Matthew to life. Needless to say, our family is overjoyed and deeply grateful to God for being so good to us. Glory to God!
By the stripes that Jesus bore on His body, we are healed.
Delivered by Hearing Voices by a Sister from RLS Chinese Church June 2010
I used to hear many voices speaking to me even though I was alone in a the room.
After I received Jesus Christ as my Savior and was water baptized, I stopped hearing all these voices except the voice of an Indian lady. One day I saw an image of this Indian lady in my room. I said to it, “ Get out of here in the name of Jesus. I am now a Christian. Don’t come and bother me anymore.” The spirit disappeared and from that time onwards, the spirits never bothered me again. The name of Jesus is above all names.
Healed of Incontinence by a Brother from RLS Chinese Church June 2010
I used to suffer from incontinence because of my old age. After I became a Christian, I believe that Jesus is my Healer and so I prayed to Jesus for healing. Now I hear a voice that says “toilet” telling me it’s time to go to the toilet so that it’s not too late. Praise the Lord!
Delivered from the spirit of fear – reported by Jan, Healing Wings - November 2009
In mid September, there was a sister-in-Christ who came to Healing Wings for prayer and ministry. She shared with us that she was constantly overly anxious about her family and particularly about her son’s health condition and his future. She realised that she was under the bondage of fear and wanted to be set free. Datuk Paul ministered to her and prayed for her.
After the session I showed her the book “A More Excellent Way” and recommended that she read the book to understand more about the spiritual roots to diseases.
When she returned home after ministry session, she had the urge to go to the toilet and she knew that the Holy Spirit was cleansing her of unclean spirits that were in her.
She then read the book and as she understood that fear was an evil spirit, she begin to receive further deliverance by the Holy Spirit. During that time, God also sent other people to pray for a breakthrough for her as well as to encourage her.
About a month later, she came back to Healing Wings and testified joyously that God had set her free from her the bondage of fear. She no longer carried the burden of fear but was about to trust God to work things out for her and her family. All glory unto God.
By Ps Phurka (RLS Nepali Fellowship) - Testimony of Healing of Batuya Mandal Dec 2008

A member of the fellowship, Som, brought me to see a Nepali man, Batuya Mandal on 6 Nov 2008. During the Dashain festival in October where Nepalese celebrate by worshipping the idols Durga and Ram, he just fell down while cutting some onions. After the fall, he could not talk and walk for a month. That is why his friend, Som, asked me to visit and pray for him. Batuya is a Maithali, a tribe that lives at the border of Nepal and India. His language is similar to Hindi and Batuya speaks very little Nepali language.
At the first visit, I visited him with a Nepali leader. His whole left foot was black, gangrenous and swollen with pus. In fact, the doctor had recommended that it be amputated. We prayed for him and 3 days later, he started to talk and to walk around his apartment on the third floor! Praise the Lord!
On the second visit, we brought 2 Maithali believers to help explain the gospel to him. He accepted the Lord and believed that Jesus is his Healer.
The third visit, he started to walk up and down the 3 flights of stairs! Our Missions Coordinator, Bro Joo Tatt was there and he heard him saying aloud in Nepali, "Lord Jesus has healed me!" This visit was an opportunity to share with the 30 other Maithali men in the apartment. The group divided into smaller groups to share with groups of the Maithali friends. Batuya came to the Nepali fellowship too.
|
| Despite the healing, the boss is adamant to send him home to Nepal on 29 Nov. The doctor still wants to amputate the left foot which now looks much better and a lot of pus has come out with prayer. Praise the Lord! Do continue to pray that he will be able to find a church and grow back in Nepal.

By a brother from Nepal July 2008
I had been working in Malaysia for one year and I used to worry much and was not able to perform well in my work. One day, I met some
Nepali friends who have been attending the Nepali fellowship in RLS.
They told me that after attending the fellowship, I can have freedom from all kinds of sicknesses and worry.
On 1 June, I attended the RLS Nepali fellowship. That evening, I experienced a touch of the Lord in my life. I felt very good but I did not accept the Lord because I was worried that my family members would persecute me as they are all Hindus.
I continued to attend church though and on 14 June, I decided to give my life to Jesus at the altar call. Three others also accepted the Lord that day. I felt very joyful. Ps. Phurka told me that only Jesus could give me freedom and asked me to continuously pray to Jesus.
A week after accepting the Lord, I fainted at work and fell to the ground but I thank God that I was not hurt because I was cushioned by the bales of cloth all around me in the garment factory. My boss took me to my room and massaged me and I started to feel better. Later, he took me to a clinic where the doctor examined me but he could not find anything wrong with me. My boss then brought me back to my room. I could not talk clearly so I asked my friend to call Ps. Phurka and also a friend in Kepong.
Ps. Phurka came immediately and, together with another Christian Nepali brother, prayed for me. Bro. Joo Tatt who knew what happened told Ps. Phurka to bind the evil spirit in the Name of Jesus. Later I was told that my neck was twisted and could not move. At the same time, I was shaking very badly and 2 friends had to hold me down. My tongue was bitten on both sides and was bleeding slightly.
Ps. Phurka led us in a Nepali song "In the name of Jesus". He then commanded the evil spirits in me to leave and I was set free! Praise the Lord.! After that, I was full of joy and able to talk to my friends.
At the Wednesday Nepali prayer meeting, I gave my testimony and thanked the Lord for delivering me. Hallelujah!

During an evangelistic meeting held recently, a brother who had backslide rededicated his life to our Lord Jesus. He had a chronic skin problem and it was so serious, his bone was even exposed. God healed him miraculously. Hallelujah, praise the Lord!

Elder Steven Yip's mother was admitted to hospital when she experienced a slow heart beat and strong throbbing in her head. She was so worried that she may have to go for a bypass operation should there be any problem with her heart and she feared that she may die in the hospital. Bro. David Ten visited her and prayed for her to be healed and to be freed from the fear of death. Praise God, the tests confirmed that there was nothing seriously wrong and no operation was needed.
By Datuk Isaac Chew (May 2008)
(Datuk Isaac and his wife, Ivy are team members of Manna Community Services and they are actively involved with hospital visitation)
In February 2008, a friend from Kuantan called to ask whether I could share the Good News and pray for his friend, Ben Wong who is suffering from lung and liver infection caused by an unknown and unrecognized virus that caused the lung and liver to become 'mouldy ' (fungus).
When Ivy and I met up with Ben, he was weak and pale but managed to greet us with a smile. We noticed that there were many expensive idols in his house. Ben related to us about his sickness and that he had seen many doctors. He even sought medical treatment in Hong Kong and met up with the group of doctors who treated 'SARS' patients. Each treatment costs RM 7,000.00 - RM 8,000.00. The doctor took samples of the fluid from his lungs and liver and found a new kind of virus unheard of. In total, he spent almost a million RM in medical expenses. Though he had also consulted many 'gods' including priests (lama) from local and abroad, there was not much improvement. His health deteriorated and he was in and out of ICU. Ben told us that while he was in ICU, he was constantly attacked by demons. He added that even all the talismans that he had with him could not protect him.
We asked him whether he is willing to believe and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ? He said that, as far as he is concerned, there are two other gods that he has not sought help from. One of them is the Indian god because he couldn't speak Tamil and the other god is our Lord Jesus Christ.
Immediately, we felt led by the Spirit of God to share the Good News with him and asked him to read aloud a number of scriptures from the Bible. And by the grace and mercy of God, we led him into the sinner's prayer. Hallelujah!
What really surprised me was after the sinner's prayer, he asked me whether he should remove all his idols? That was an act of great faith. Praise God! I strongly believed that it was the conviction of the Holy Spirit upon Ben. Yes, we replied and told him that we would make arrangements. However, he did not wait for us but had the idols removed within the next few days by a pastor from another Church.
Meanwhile, we sent out 'sms' requesting prayers for Ben and for some people to visit him. We continued to visit him and encouraged him to claim God's promises upon his life. Then in March, I received a call from Ben. He sounded so joyful and excited and began to relate to me that he had just came out from his doctor's office. Results of a scan showed that his lung was cleared of virus and his liver showed tremendous improvement. He was healed! Hallelujah! Praise God forever and ever more. "From everlasting to everlasting He is God!"..........Psalm 90:2.
Ben and his wife were baptized on April 13, 2008. They now attend FGA,
Kepong (Mandarin Service).
Our God is a God of miracles! (April 2008)
Three months ago, my sister Suzanne told me that her son, Wilson aged 3 was scheduled for surgery in March to correct his hernia condition. This saddened me because he is still so small and should not be going under the doctor's scalpel. Then God brought to my mind how thirty years ago, two of my boys who were born early suffered the same condition. One of them underwent surgery to correct it but when my youngest son encountered the same condition, I was very much on fire for God then and much into miracles, signs and wonders. So, together with the ladies- group, we fasted and prayed fervently. Several weeks later, the hernia condition was gone. So I told Suzanne that God can heal Wilson without the operation.
I made a point to see Wilson and to lay hands on the hernia and cried to God for healing. I reminded God that He had said "Suffer little children to come unto me, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14)
Having worked with children for 30 years I have seen how the persistent love of our Heavenly Father touched, comforted and embraced them in their time of need. Many groups of people were interceding for Wilson then.
Suddenly, a week before the operation, Suzanne called to say that the operation was postponed to 7th April. My heart quickened and I somehow knew that it was a call of God for us to pray and travail for a breakthrough.
I reminded God how He had miraculously caused my sister to conceive Wilson and so He will surely heal His miracle child.
A few days before the operation, Suzanne called and excitedly shared with me that when she changed Wilson's pampers she noticed that the hernia was no longer there but that she would bring him to the doctor to confirm the healing. Sure enough the doctor was so amazed and even asked Wilson to jump and jump to see if the hernia would recur.
Finally, he agreed that Wilson does not need the operation anymore. Truly the kingdom of God is here in our midst. All praise and glory to our Father God.

GOD IS LOVE, GOD IS MERCIFUL (March 2008)
All glory and honour to God for preserving my husband, Mark Ooi.
Indeed, our lives are in His mighty Hands!
Mark was feeling weak and dizzy on Saturday night (16 February 2008). I took him to the 24-hour clinic for check-up. The doctor checked him and prescribed some gastric medication for him. He told us that Mark's blood pressure was slightly low and his pulse a bit slow but there was nothing to worry about. However, he advised that if his condition did not improve by the next day, he should go to the hospital.
On Sunday morning, I checked Mark's pulse and noticed that it was slightly better than the night before. He told me to go ahead for Sunday Service and he would stay back as he was still feeling weak. Somehow, deep within me, I felt very uneasy to leave him alone at home. There was a a rather strong prompting that I should take him to the hospital. I then drove him straight to the University Hospital.
Upon admission to the Emergency Ward, the doctor on duty checked his blood pressure and pulse and certified that he was alright. As she continued with other tests, Mark's heart rate suddenly began to drop. I was then asked to leave and to wait outside the ward. As I was leaving the room, I heard the doctor say that his heart rate had dropped to a dangerous low of 20. The resuscitation team was summoned.
Later, the doctor explained to me that Mark's pacemaker has failed to function. An X-ray showed that one of the wires from the pacemaker leading to his heart was broken. He was then connected to a temporary external pacemaker in order to keep his heart beating. Two days later, Mark was operated on and had the malfunctioned pacemaker replaced.
As I reflect on what had happened, I realized that our God is loving and merciful to us. Mark could have gone off on Saturday night in his sleep but God sustained him in that critical time. God's great love, manifested through brothers and sisters in Christ in this incident also truly overwhelmed us.
Mark and I wish to express our grateful thanks to all of you for your loving concern, support and prayer. All glory be unto God!

I am sharing this testimony on behalf of my friend, Siong. Through the RLS Gohtong Jaya Ministry, Siong accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour and was baptized in early 2007.
On 15th January 2008, I helped Siong to pack and move back to his hometown in Malacca. He told me that he experienced unclean spirits sitting on his chest and strangling him at 5.00am that morning. He was struggling and wrestling off the spirits frantically shouting "Hallelujah" with all his might. Being a young Christina he did not know he should be calling out the name of Jesus. Prior to this, Siong was warded in Bentong Hospital for 4 days for breathing difficulties.
On the way to Malacca and as we were passing Alor Gajah, he suddenly experienced excruciating chest pain and was gasping for breath, I picked up speed and rushed him to the Emergency Room at the Malacca Hospital.
Doctors said that Siong had a heart attack. he was then warded in the ICU. His condition deteriorated very quickly. Within several hours the doctor gave the prognosis and that he could die anytime and advised for his immediate family to prepare for the worst. His lungs were filled with water and were also infected; he was not able to breathe on his own; his kidneys were impacted causing swelling from face to feet: internal organs were malfunctioning and jaundice set in. For 3 days he was in a state of unconsciousness. His body seemed to be slowly shutting down.
Concerned for his true salvation, David and Grace Ten (from RLS Chinese ministry) went to visit Siong in the hospital that evening. I thank God that he came out of his consciousness long enough for David to minister to him and then anointed him with oil.
Some of Siong's family members are not saved. One of them is his wife. Seeing him lying in the ICU in such a state, his wife consulted a medium. The medium told her that Siong could not live beyond 22nd of January 2008. But praise God, the next day he was taken out from ICU to the common ward as he showed much improvement. Our sovereign God is merciful and gracious. A group of RLS members have been praying for him earnestly and regularly from the moment of his heart attack. Our God is a prayer-answering God indeed.
On 26th January, Siong shared with me his unique encounter with Jesus. He believed that Jesus gave him a glimpse of heaven. He saw himself in white and was flying. He met 2 young-looking angels who stood outside a huge gate and there was a big, beautiful mansion inside. The angels asked him what he was doing there. They searched but could not find Siong's name in the book (Book of Life). When Siong told them he wanted to meet Jesus, they replied that He was busy at a meeting. Later, Jesus came out to meet him anyway with 4 bearded men. Jesus said to Siong, "It's not time yet for you to come. You have not said goodbye to your family members. You have 6 more years." Siong said he communicated with them in Mandarin. (Our God is multi-lingual.) Siong described the place to be a huge beautiful garden with lots of flowers and colorful precious stones. After the conversation, he felt his body descending very fast and he was back in his hospital bed.
Upon hearing his testimony, Siong's older daughter who is a backsliden Christian mentioned that she would go back to church. The younger unbelieving daughter said she would like to become a Christian. Praise the Lord! God can use any circumstance to draw people to Himself!
Siong was discharged from the hospital on the 29th January and is now recuperating at home. Siong could have died and gone to hell. By the grace of God, his life is extended to give him a chance to make right his relationships with his loved ones and with God.
I thank God for His grace and mercy upon Siong's life and I thank all who have been upholding him in prayer. I also thank God for teaching me through first-hand experience the power of prayer. Hallelujah!

From Chew Poh Tin, Taiping Gospel Hall (Dec 2007)
I attended the "Walk In Health" seminar held in FGA Taiping from the 22 - 24 November, 2007 and I want to share how God healed me.
I have had this pain on my left breast for a few days when I heard about this seminar. After much delay, I finally signed up for it.
I was too embarrassed to speak of my problem with friends. However, at the seminar, I laid my hand on where the pain is and prayed for healing. Nothing happened on the first day of the seminar. On the second day, when the Pastors were praying and renouncing curses and roots of diseases, many people vomitted, but I started yawning instead. The yawning came on and on and in between.
Suddenly I felt a pushing pressure from my armpits towards the breast and another pushing pressure from the breast towards the armpit. Believe me, right before my eyes I could see the pushing movements and a ball of blood (which is the size of a twenty cents coin) covered with veins or arteries (I am not sure) being pushed out. At the same time I could felt something pushed out from my throat in the form of a layer of something like a blown-up piece of bubble gum.
During the third session I just could not control my yawning again. Each time the pastors prayed, I yawned 10 to 13 times continuously I am certain that they must have noticed a lady who's been yawning and yawning!
I thank God and praise Him for the healing and I pray that His blessings be upon the pastors and his team.
In His Name,
Poh Tin
Healed of Rheumatoid Arthritis - MAY LIM( July 2007)
I was 28 years old when I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 1998. The pain started from my hands and gradually grew worse and spread all over my body. I have been on medication since and used to avoid many kinds of food that can aggravate my condition according to Chinese beliefs.
Rheumatoid arthritis is a painful and debilitating anti immune disease. The immune system attacks the joints. During bad times, I could not do so many things. I could not stand on my feet without a helping hand let alone wash, sweep or do any housework. I needed my mother to help me when taking my bath. I could not even use a can opener as my hands were too weak to turn it. I would walk very, very slowly with a walking stick and I could not walk far or fast as I get tired easy. It was an ordeal for me to climb up and down the stairs. I was not able to sit up from bed on my own too. My bones were very stiff and sort of got jammed when seated in a chair for a while. Each time when I got up, friends around me could hear the cracking sound of my joints. My bones were like those of an old lady.
As a hairdresser I had no choice but to endure the pain when my hands and feet were at work. I was like an invalid and became a burden to loved ones around me. My condition was so bad that it had a toll on my marriage. Finally after one year my marriage ended in divorce in 2002.
One day in May 2005, Pansy Lim, a regular customer at my salon, shared the Gospel with me. After accepting Jesus into my life, she convinced me to come to Healing Wings for ministry. Through the ministry, I learned that there are spiritual roots to diseases. A number of issues such as bitterness, unforgiveness, self-condemnation, self hatred and guilt were dealt with. I went through a list of confession, repentance and renunciation before I was prayed for emotional and physical healing.
Since I accepted the Lord, I have been attending the Chinese Service in River of Life Sanctuary, Segambut consistently. With encouragement from members in RLS I close my salon on Sundays (even though Sunday is the best day for business) to honor and worship God in church. I believe the devil was not happy because few months later in August 2005 I suffered severe pains and had to be hospitalized for 4 days. I was x-rayed and put on drips and drugs. Church members visited and prayed for me in the hospital.
Two years have passed. I have grown spiritually and my faith is strengthened. As I learn the Truth, the Truth will set me free e.g. I no longer abstain from this or that food because I learned that God made them good.
